It was a very nice surprise to see that Purple Haze made a Tsunade pic set, so I just had to make a lineart of the cover.

Wow it's been awhile since my last journal, huh. Anyway I'm writing this journal to state some rules, ask a question, and a small rant.

As most of you have probably noticed on the latest linearts I've uploaded to DA that I've added a border at the top and above the border is where I'm putting my signature. I've added a border for two reasons:
1. It gives me an area to add my signature where it doesn't interfere with the lineart and so colorist don't have to work around it while coloring.
2. I hope by adding this border area that anyone who colors my lines will leave my signature on it. I've noticed that some of the people that have colored my linearts are erasing or cropping out my signature. As its states in the artist's comments of all my linearts "You can color this, but don't REMOVE THE SIGNATURE, and credit me for the lineart." If you want to add your signature beside mine and the original artist (like color by: -artist's name- for example) you are welcome to do so.
I will be going through my gallery this weekend and adding the border and signature to the rest of my linearts.

Next I was thing about adding Flats(flat colors) along with the linearts as a psd file. Do you think this would help me attract more skilled colorist?

There are also two things I want to get off my chest.
1. You do not have permission to change my linearts and reupload them to your gallery. I consider this art theft and will report you to DA.
2. I've received notes from "colorist" asking why I don't fav/comment on their colored versions. Well if you don't put any effort into it and are just using the paint bucket tool or the magic wand tool and filling it in then no I won't fav/comment on it.

Hopefully I will be commenting and responding to comments more in the future, but with the way my personal life is at the moment its kinda hard to find the time.

Anyway till next time,
Matthew
